Purchasing
redundant
equipment:
We offer good
rates on your
unwanted
equipment. We
usually ask for
a list of
redundant
equipment and
price
accordingly.
Site visits may
be nesecary in
order to do
this.
Collection of
your redundant
equipment:
We arrange
collection of
your redundant
equipment once a
purchase price
has been agreed.
We have a combo
van for smaller
collections and
a Tail lift
vehicle for
larger
collections.
Recycling
your equipment:
Once the
equipment
arrives back at
our fascilities
we test and wipe
ALL security
data from the
machines. This
is done Using a
software called
KILLDISK/Blancco.
This software
overwrites
zero`s over the
hard drive
enabling us to
re-format and
re-load
operating
software where
necessary for
the purpose of
resale. This
software is 100%
secure and is
recognised by
the US
Government as
secure.
Disposing of
equipment not
fit for resale:
We use a Company
called Biffa
waste services
to handle all of
our un-salable
waste. They are
one if not the
biggest waste
disposable
Companies in the
UK and are fully
certified waste
handlers
ensuring that
all waste
hazardous or
otherwise is
recycled to the
British
Governments
strict guidlines;
see Government
Directives. This
reduces our
costs for
disposal and
enables us to
certify that all
waste was
recycled in
accordance to
ISO14001
specifications.
We offer a
certified letter
to confirm this.
Tracking
where your IT
goes:
All serial
numbers of the
machines and
hard drives are
logged and a
copy will be
sent to you via
electronic mail.
This enables us
and yourselves
to tract where
your redundant
equipment ends
up; either
recycled (distroyed)
or resold.
We fully
understand the
importance of
the current
financial budget
cuts that are
swooping this
Country, so we
ensure the best
returns for you
on your
equipment.
Payment will be
made to you
withing 7-10
days of
receiving the
equipment,
enabling us time
to test the
equipment. A
FULL list of our
findings will be
sent to within
this time.
Collection
time scales:
We need two days
notice prior to
collection to
enable us time
to arrange and
manage the
logistics.
